      <image:caption>In my life before my Burnout, my career was everything. The Industry was my whole world. I rolled out of bed and got straight on email, I dialled into conference calls while downing black coffee and spent my commute catching up on all the madness I’d missed overnight. Late nights in the office, or shows and double gin and tonics, followed by last orders on Cafe Koha and a bowl of chips to soak it up. It was my whole life; and I thought I loved it. Then one day, after months - perhaps years - of ignoring the signs and all the ways my body was trying to get me to pay attention, there was nothing else it could do but shut down. I collapsed from Burnout and exhaustion, was taken to a doctor, a therapist, a bunch of other doctors, and I never went back to work again. Words like Anxiety, Depression, Adrenal Fatigue, Suicidal Ideation, PTSD, all entered my reality.  My passion was gone, the thing I’d worked my whole life for had turned against me, and I had no idea who I was away from my work.</image:caption>

      <image:caption>Yin Yoga is often practiced with lots of props - these can be cushions, blankets, yoga blocks, foam blocks, yoga straps, yoga bolsters, eye pillows and more! I will have a stock of these that will be available to purchase (at cost price) if you want to have your own (bonus - you can use these to practice at home too!) and I will also have a limited amount of props for hire. If you don’t want to commit to purchasing props and don’t feel comfortable borrowing them - don’t worry! You can easily make your own using cushions/pillows/blankets etc that you can bring with you from home. I’ll show you how! And, just to clarify, in the interest of health and safety our ‘candlelight’ will be mostly battery powered! It’s a lovely, cosy atmosphere to relax and unwind in.</image:caption>

      <image:caption>As of summer 2025, I am taking a break from my business. I am back in full-time education, ‘skilling up’ academically and qualification-ally in order to get deeper into this work around chronic stress and burnout, along with a whole manner of other aspects of mental health and well-being that contribute. I am also prioritising the needs of my family while I am in a position to do so and giving more time to the care of my grandmother who is living with Alzheimer’s and dementia. For the foreseeable, I will not be offering online or IRL classes, or taking on new coaching clients. I will have some availability for ongoing and existing clients, and I will of course still be available via email, albeit less readily than before. I won’t be on Instagram or Facebook very much. What I will be doing is writing! I will be posting personal essays on Substack, which you can subscribe to for free in order to keep tabs on me. I would love to see you there.</image:caption>
